You may consider your self a cat-parent. As such, you want to love your cat in a way that he understands and lets him know that he is well loved by you. Unfortunately, when you got your cat, no one handed you an instruction book with him. What can you do so he knows he is loved?
3Giving him things to think about
Most bad behavior is out of boredom rather than naughtiness. If your cat gets bored he will experiment with playing with your furniture and belongings in ways you may not like, such as batting items off of shelves, scratching on furniture, or other things. Training, while not commonly thought of in relation to cats, can be a great way to engage your cat’s brain, give him something positive to do, and use his natural skills in a fun way.
